The face behind the cat.

Hi! I’m Mary and I love telling stories through design.
I have a BA in Graphic Design and I am always looking for ways to expand my knowledge and creativity and love to experiment in new styles and mediums.
I draw inspiration from peoples’ faces, foreign city streets and random weird dreams.
I love navigating through evey design challenge from different perspectives and coming up with a solution that achives effective communication and connects with individuals on an emotional level.

When I’m not moving pixels around I dance professionally, I hang from aerial silks, I take underwater scuba walks and I try to convince people to watch Breaking Bad.

Some of my skills:

Work experience:

of tales untold (2021- )

Founder / Fashion Designer
of tales untold started as an art instagram account of my personal illustrations. Combining it with my love for clothes and styling of tales untold has grown to be a brand of clothing and accessories based on these illustrations, incorporating fun patterns, bold colors and unique prints.

Filia Lab (2019- )

Art Director / Illustrator
Worked on various projects like logos, visual identities and web design.
As a company we also had created a brand of educational children books called “iScool”. I was actively involved in the process of developement of the books, puzzles and educational apps, from the brainstorming phase, coming up with concepts, characters and new product ideas to creating illustrations, book layout and promotional design, social media campaings etc.

Designpark (2018-2019)

Graphic Designer
Involved in various projects such as branding, promotional design, packaging and other print and digital projects. A very big project I had the chance to get involved in for the first time was creating characters, scenes, face expressions, hairstyles, clothes and many many other components for an animation toolkit for After Effects, that allows the user to create animations easily. Working in close collaboration with the team’s animators and developers, we managed to create an extremely user-friendly UI, and make every aspect of the kit as customizable as possible, so that every user can create exactly what they have in mind.

Bettas Jewellery (2017)

Graphic Designer
Mainly focusing on building a strong digital presence of the company, I was in charge of designing graphics for the website, newsletters, social banners, digital campaigns, as well as product photoshooting and photo editing.

Ramos Sporting Goods (2014-2016)

Graphic Designer
Starting at Ramos as an intern, during a time that the company was working on a complete rebranding I had the opportunity to be a part of the process every step of the way. Collaborating with people from various departments we managed to create the ideal visual presence for the company. The completed projects varied from branding, packaging and catalogues to products photoshooting and visuals for the website/e-shop and social media.
